A young man inherits his father's farm, along with years of hard-earned wisdom he never bothered to understand. Whenever Daddy tried to teach him about planting, seasons, and trusting God, his answer was always the same: “Yes, Daddy, yes.” But his mind was somewhere else.
After his father passes away, the young farmer finds himself responsible for the land. Afraid to make a mistake, he waits for favorable winds and a perfect sign. When he finally plants, the season has passed. The seeds die in the ground, the harvest never comes, and the family farm is lost.
Featuring heartfelt country storytelling, gentle banjo, mournful harmonica, acoustic guitar, and pedal steel, Waiting on the Winds brings Ecclesiastes 11:4 to life.
The message: Waiting upon God is not the same as postponing what God has already called us to do. Wisdom must be heard, faith must be exercised, and opportunity must be acted upon in its season.
Don't wait until tomorrow to sow the seed God has placed in your hands today.
Scripture: Ecclesiastes 11:4–6; Proverbs 4:7; Daniel 2:20–22; James 1:22.
