Help Me to Know You
A tender worship lullaby of longing, love, forgiveness, and the desire to know Jesus face to face.
Inspired by Moses, who spoke with God as a friend yet longed to behold His glory, and Peter, who encountered the risen Jesus beside the Sea of Galilee, Help Me to Know You is an intimate prayer from a heart longing for deeper fellowship with the Lord.
Moses was sheltered in the cleft of the rock as God's glory passed by. Peter, having denied Jesus three times, found himself face to face with the risen Savior, who lovingly asked, "Do you love Me?" Then came the restoring commission: "Feed My sheep."
These two encounters reveal the heart of this song: the longing to see His face, the wonder of being fully known, and the grace that restores us to loving fellowship with Him.
With gentle piano, delicate strings, and the tenderness of a lullaby, this song invites listeners into a quiet moment of surrender:
Jesus, help me to know You, help me to love You, help me to see Your face.
Scripture: Exodus 33:11–23; John 21:15–19; Philippians 3:10; 1 Corinthians 13:12.
