“These three layers—roots, identity, and rejection—form the battlefield of the soul.
Roots: God created you in His image (Genesis 1:27). Satan hates that image and works to corrupt it.
Identity: Before miracles, the Father told Jesus: ‘You are My Son, whom I love.’ (Mark 1:11). Immediately Satan attacked: ‘If you are the Son of God…’ (Matthew 4:3).
Rejection: David cried, ‘Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me.’ (Psalm 27:10). Jesus Himself was rejected by many, yet ran to the Father’s embrace.
When roots are ignored, identity confused, and rejection festers — Satan builds a perfect storm. But Jesus said: ‘The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy — I came that you may have life, and life to the full.’ (John 10:10).
