I grew up in Western Sunday school.
We pictured Eden as a fenced fruit patch.
We imagined heaven beyond the galaxies.
We assumed earth would burn and be discarded.
Those ideas were sincere, but incomplete.

Patch of land becomes throw-away world. That picture is too small.
SECTION TWO 01:00
Genesis chapters two and three show four rivers flowing down from Eden. Rivers flow down from a hill.
Adam’s assignment uses the Hebrew verbs abad and shamar. Numbers chapter three verses seven and eight use the same verbs for Levites who guard the tabernacle.
Conclusion: Eden is God’s first sanctuary-mountain. Adam is a priest king, not a backyard gardener.

SECTION THREE 02:00
Genesis chapter three verse twenty four says cherubim with a flaming sword guard the east gate.
Every later sanctuary faces east. Exodus chapter twenty seven verses thirteen through sixteen. First Kings chapter six verse thirty three. Worshippers walk west, reversing exile.
SECTION FOUR 02:30
Luke chapter nineteen verses thirty seven through forty four.
Messiah rides from the Mount of Olives through Jerusalem’s east gate.
Genesis chapter three verse fifteen. His heel is bruised. The serpent’s head is crushed.
Matthew chapter twenty seven verse fifty one. The temple veil tears from top to bottom. The sword is sheathed. The doorway is unlocked.

Flaming sword quenched. Access restored.
SECTION FIVE 03:20
Revelation chapter twenty one verse one. John sees a new heaven and a new earth. The Greek word kainos means renewed, not replaced.
Verse two. The holy city comes down and God dwells with us.
Revelation chapter twenty two verses one and two. River of life. Tree of life. Leaves for the healing of nations.
Eden is not scrapped. Eden spreads until it fills the earth.

Escape-up fantasy is cancelled. Kingdom-down reality begins.

First Corinthians chapter three verse sixteen says your body is a living temple.
Habakkuk chapter two verse fourteen promises the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as waters cover the sea.
Therefore every song, invention, court ruling, and garden you plant is advance landscaping for the city that will touch down.

Western mind, trade the escape pod for a gardener’s spade.
Pray, engineer, teach, compose. Every act of restoration today rehearses resurrection tomorrow.
