From the recording Veil of Water, Breath of Spirit

A cinematic spoken-word journey that blends Hebrew-flavored flute and sax with rumbling sound design. “Veil of Water, Breath of Spirit” traces God’s water-threshold from Genesis to Jesus’ midnight talk with Nicodemus, then calls every listener to step through the torn curtain and be “born of water and Ruach.” The track’s heartbeat-to-river transitions and swelling mystery tones create an atmosphere perfect for baptism services, prayer rooms, or quiet devotion.

— “VEIL OF WATER, BREATH OF SPIRIT” —
(dramatic spoken script)

[SFX: deep waters rumble, a wind sweeps overhead]

NARRATOR (slow, resonant)
“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
Now the earth was chaos and waste, darkness was on the surface of the deep,
and the Ruach Elohim was hovering upon the surface of the water.

Then God said, ‘Let there be light!’—and there was light.
God saw that the light was good. So God distinguished the light from the darkness.
God called the light day and the darkness He called night.
So there was evening and there was morning—one day.

Then God said, ‘Let there be an expanse in the midst of the water!
Let it be for separating water from water.’
So God made the expanse and separated the water that was below the expanse
from the water that was above the expanse. And it happened so.
God called the expanse sky.
So there was evening and there was morning—a second day.

Then God said, ‘Let the water below the sky be gathered to one place.
Let the dry ground appear.’ And it happened so.
God called the dry ground land, and the collection of the water He called seas.
And God saw that it was good.”
Genesis chapter 1 verses one to ten. Tree of Life Version

[Pause—distant heartbeat begins]

SPEAKER (warm, vivid)
Beloved, feel that pulse.
Before mountains learned their names, the Creator wrapped life in a veil of water—
a living curtain able to hide glory yet pulsing with promise.

Every living thing is escorted into being by water.
Seeds soak, eggs float, and you once swam as a grain of code in paternal fluid,
nestled in maternal sea.
Forty weeks of hidden choreography—heart forging rhythm, feet composing silent praise—
until the membrane tore, waters gushed, breath rushed, and earth met you face-to-face.
The first veil parted.

[Wind rises]

Centuries later a teacher named Nicodemus slipped through Jerusalem’s midnight streets
to sit before Jesus of Nazareth.
The Rabbi spoke with midwife clarity:

“Amen, amen, I tell you—unless one is born of water and the Spirit,
he cannot enter the Kingdom of God.
What is born of flesh is flesh, and what is born of Spirit is spirit.
Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’
The wind blows where it wishes… so is everyone born of the Spirit.”

Why water? Because the Father never revoked His Day-Two signature.
Flesh-rockets may pierce atmosphere, but only Spirit-breathed hearts tread the crystal sea.
The veil that once hid the throne now marks the doorway between realms.

[Heartbeat becomes river-rush]

Witness the pattern:
• Creation — Spirit hovers over deep, light explodes.
• Flood   — windows of heaven open, earth baptized for restart.
• Red Sea & Jordan — walls of water split, a nation is birthed.
• Baptism of the Lamb — He rises, skies rip, Dove descends.
• Pentecost — living water gushes from newly kindled hearts.

At each juncture a veil tears, a people emerges, a breath ignites.

[Music swells]

So come—stand at the water’s edge.
Let the Word descend and the Wind stir.
Step in until chaos closes over your head,
then rise, dripping and blazing with Eden’s oxygen.

Proclaim to every thirsty soul:
“The curtain is torn; the river runs free—
come be born again of Water and Spirit!”

[Soft benediction]
May the waters above remember their Maker,
may the waters below applaud His children,
and may the last veil soon split from top to bottom—
revealing the Bride, radiant, ever-born of Water and Spirit.

[All sound fades to stillness]
